On “International Women’s Day” this organization has taken birth with a vow to bring up a dynamic change, with a mission for upliftment of rural undeveloped urban & women in the society. Accordingly within a short span of around 8 yrs of sincere services, the society acquired appreciable establishments & its owned assets. Govt. of India has sanctioned several projects on its favor, considering, its infrastructure, skilled manpower, and capability “PRIYA” a Non Government organization registered under the Societies Act 1860, is engaged in integrated rural development initiatives through capacity building of the deprived community within Kendrapara and Rayagada district. PRIYA enjoys wholehearted trust and unique confidence of the tribal rural community as its key stakeholders in all its initiatives. Both the Government of Orissa through District Rural Development Agency and several government agencies like Health Department, Women and Child Development, Youth Affairs Department Social Welfare Etc, are some of the agencies who have entrusted works to PRIYA. During its nine years tenure, in the districts organization has been conferred with many accolades by the local administration. PRIYA is one of the many organizations representing the NGO sector in many of the development-oriented committees in the districts.
